Birchleggers, we're an interesting lot, now numbering at 839 American
Birkebeiner skiers to have finished 20 or more Birkies. We are
persistent, consistent, and maybe just a little bit loony. We've found
something we love to do, and we keep on coming back for more. Unless
you've purchased a Birchleggings Club T-shirt, vest, or jacket, other
than wearing your Birchleggings Club bib at the race every year,
there's no way to tell the world that you're a Birchlegger. UNTIL NOW!
For several years I've searched for a source for a license plate frame
that will get you recognized, to allow you to tell the world,( or at
least whoever is behind your vehicle at any given moment), that you are
a proud member of the Birchleggings Club. For those who have skied the
race less than 30 years, but at least 20, we have a license plate frame
that says: AMERICAN BIRKEBEINER across the top of the frame, and
BIRCHLEGGINGS CLUB across the bottom of the frame. For those who are 30
year
or more skiers, we have: BIRCHLEGGINGS CLUB across the top of the
frame, and 3RD DECADE DIVISION across the bottom of the frame.

All letters are gold on a purple background, just like our bibs!
They are made by a family owned engraving business that will make them
up for us in batches of 10 or more. As soon as I get at least 10 people
ordering one frame, (or more), I will send a check to the engravers
with the order, and have them sent back to me, I will then send them on
to those who have ordered. The cost is $30.00, which covers the cost of
the frame, the special bubble wrap mailing envelope, and the postage.
Any extra money will go to the Tony Wise Legacy Fund, supporting young
XC-skiers.
The best way to order them is to send a check to me for $30.00, made
out to Steve Carmazon, with your name and shipping address, I will send
