Birchlegger Number (BL
Number): This number is assigned in the order of crossing
the finish line for skiers finishing their 20th races.
In 2010, we assigned BL numbers 936 - 1006. In 2007, when finish
times were not recorded, new Birchleggers were assigned BL numbers in
order of their finish times for their 19th race.
Rank:
This number orders skiers by the total number of Birkebeiners they have
skied. Skiers with the same number of races completed are ranked
according to the BL Number.
